Flexibility
A garment combining two layers of fleece to provide more heat and comfort while reducing wind chill thanks to the bonding used to assemble the two fleece layers. It also allows us to construct a perfectly reversible garment.

Thermal Insulation
The water repellency of your Brooks Men's fleece is obtained by soaking the component in a special treatment. This treatment allows water to slide over the surface of the fabric on both sides without soaking in. This prevents the component from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight.

Water Repellence
The breathability of your Brooks Men's Fleece corresponds to its ability to let your body's perspiration escape. It is measured using Resistance to Evaporative Transfer (ISO Standard 11092). The RET is a resistance index; the lower the value, the greater the breathability of the garment. RET between 6 and 9: extremely breathable, between 10 and 13: very breathable, between 14 and 17: breathable, between 18 and 20: not very breathable, greater than 20: not breathable.

Windproofing
The clo is an index that allows you to measure the thermal resistance of your Brooks Men's Fleece. During the test, components in your technical garment are exposed to temperatures close to body temperatures, while the exterior temperature remains controlled. The Clo index reflects the ability of your Brooks Men's Fleece to retain your body heat inside the garment. The greater the Clo index, the better the technical component will retain your body heat.
